ORDER OF 2 MARCH 2017 RELATING TO THE ORGANIZATION OF TECHNICAL CONTROL - Amendment to certain rules of technical control: Number of checkpoints, Introduction of minor, Major and Critical failure, increase of technical inspection and counter-visit tariff . The number of checkpoints will increase to 132 from 123 today.
Note that the defects will take the name of "failure" and their number will rise to 606, against 453 for the current version.
Old vehicles will disappear if they do not meet the standards in force. In the coming years, there should be only new or very recent vehicles whose market is boosted by incentives and used or old vehicles perfectly maintained by owners concerned about their property.
